Mishra

is a Chef and Entrepreneur.

Mr. Mishra is a co-founder of The Sewing Tin NYC and a creator of immersive dining experiences.

Born in the foothills of the Himalayas in Nepal, Mr. Mishra moved to NYC at the age of 19 to pursue his dream of becoming a chef. While at culinary school in upstate NYC, he worked and staged at several Michelin-starred restaurants in the city.

A James Beard Foundation National Scholars Scholarship awardee for the year 2023, Mr. Mishra had the opportunity to work with some of the biggest chefs and food influencers at an early stage of his career. This motivated him to start his own supper club, @thesewingtinnyc, with Chef and Co-founder Akhil Upad. The nostalgic flavors from back home and the vibrant culinary/creative landscape of NYC fuel his approach to creating unique dining experiences.
